HR - Benefits Administration Coordinator

The Kind of Work You'll be Doing:

• Work on a team to facilitate comprehensive benefits, retirement, and awards administration processes to ensure compliance with Cru policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and national laws. This includes processing enrollment submissions (changes and elections) and updating Oracle HCM systems to ensure staff are accurately enrolled.
• Research, analyze, and resolve issues related to benefits and retirement plan eligibility, coverage, and claims by coordinating with vendors and applying knowledge of policies, codes, and industry practices to the Cru context.
• Serve as the primary contact for escalated issues regarding staff member benefits, retirement plans, and awards.
• Audit overseas claims, prepare insurance verification letters/certificates, and manage correspondence for staff and terminations.
• Maintain and update the Tier 2 knowledge base and FAQs and suggest improvements to enhance self-service resources.
• Process vendor billing and payments, including calculating and reconciling insurance premiums for stop-loss, disability, and life insurance to ensure timely payments; coordinate vendor files and apply retirement plan rules as appropriate.
• Maintain records of communications, data entry, and correspondence; organize files and update eligibility data in required internal and external systems, including retirement plan updates.
• Manage Cru's awards and recognition programs by running regular queries (i.e. award recipients, staff birthdays, anniversaries, Legacy Wall qualifiers); coordinating with vendors on order updates for milestone gifts and plaques; maintaining the awards database in Oracle HCM.

• Minimum: 2 Year / Associate Degree in in business administration, communications, or another related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, HR, and benefits administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
