Key Responsibilities of the Psych RN

• Deliver patient care in both medical and acute psychiatric settings
• Administer IV maintenance and basic wound care
• Provide nasal cannula, bipap/cpap care, and manage stable trach patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including MHTs, recreational therapists, and social workers
• Utilize EMR systems for accurate patient documentation

Requirements of the Psych RN

• BLS certification
• Advanced CPI (provided during orientation)
• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience, medical experience preferred
