Job #: 3052201 Business Analyst I Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite) Role Overview We are seeking an analytical and organized Business Analyst I to support promotional planning, category management, and data reporting initiatives. This individual will partner with merchants and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze historical data, support recurring promotional activities, and translate findings into actionable reports. The ideal candidate has advanced Excel skills, at least three years of relevant experience, and a background in retail, merchandising, product, category management, or another data-driven business function. Key Responsibilities Provide ad hoc support for monthly promotional activity and related business requests. Partner with merchants and cross-functional stakeholders to gather and analyze business data. Review historical data to identify trends and support future promotional decisions. Pull, clean, organize, and analyze data using Excel. Format findings into accurate, clear, and actionable business reports. Support larger seasonal promotional events and changing business priorities. Assist with category management initiatives across multiple product areas. Manage recurring deliverables while responding to time-sensitive requests. Maintain data accuracy and meet established deadlines. Build trusted working relationships with team members and business stakeholders. Required Qualifications Experience: At least three years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, retail, merchandising, product, or category management. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated ability to pull, organize, analyze, and report on data. Additional Skills: Experience managing relationships with business stakeholders, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with limited direction. Education: A business-related degree is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a retail, merchandising, product, or category management environment. Experience supporting promotional planning or sales analysis. Background working within a large, cross-functional organization. Experience balancing recurring reporting responsibilities with ad hoc requests. Ability to clearly communicate analytical findings to nontechnical stakeholders. Excellent organization, prioritization, and follow-through. Strong written and verbal communication. Work Arrangement Location: Austin, TX Schedule: Full-time, onsite, Monday through Friday.
