As a Security Officer Access Control in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at government tourism locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and support orderly entry and exit from the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
