Asset Manager

Campus Realty Advisors, LLC

Campus Realty Advisors is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Asset Manager (title commensurate with experience) to join our growing real estate investment platform, with a focus on off-campus student housing. This individual will play a critical role in supporting active management of a portfolio of operating assets to maximize financial performance and mitigate risk. The role works closely with senior leadership, collaborates with acquisitions, development, and finance teams, and provides the opportunity to help shape strategic decisions through data-driven insights and financial rigor. Key Responsibilities Track and analyze operating performance of portfolio assets versus budget and underwriting assumptions. Review monthly and quarterly reporting packages; flag variances and collaborate with operations to implement corrective actions. Develop and monitor annual operating budgets, capital improvement plans, and business plans for each asset. Engage, manage, and review external valuation of portfolio properties. Provide insights on leasing strategies, rent pricing, and capital deployment based on market trends and historical data. Conduct hold/sell analyses to make recommendations on refinancing or disposition of properties; support execution process for the same. Support loan compliance tracking and lender reporting. Conduct periodic property inspections and report findings. Maximize value of real estate through execution of business plan. Stakeholder Engagement Assist with quarterly distributions to investors. Liaise with property management teams, development partners, third-party vendors, and legal advisors as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA candidacy a plus. 3–5 years of experience in real estate asset management, private equity, or a related investment management role. Deep understanding of real estate valuation methods and financial concepts, including DCF, IRR, and cap rates. Expert-level Excel modeling skills, including proficiency in building and auditing proformas and waterfall models. Exceptional attention to detail and time management to ensure accuracy and priority of work products. Self-starter and learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Familiarity with student housing, multifamily, or operational real estate assets is highly desirable. Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms and integrating AI into workflows is desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
