Summary

The Sr. Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) leads the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis function to support strategic decision-making globally across the organization. This role is responsible for managing the budgeting process, developing rolling forecasts, and delivering actionable insights through advanced financial modeling and analytics. The Manager partners with business leaders globally to drive performance, improve processes, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting aligned with corporate objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·        Leads global forecasting and planning

·        Owns the development of near- and long-range business forecasts to guide strategic decisions

·        Manages the annual budgeting process, including target setting, consolidation, and review of business unit inputs

·        Implements and maintains a rolling forecast process to enhance agility and accuracy

·        Drives analytical insights

·        Delivers comprehensive financial analysis, including pricing, volume, expense trends, and customer/product profitability

·        Develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business unit decision-making

·        Identifies trends and anomalies to influence strategic discussions and improve profitability

·        Influences business decisions

·        Collaborates with global stakeholders to ensure effective financial reporting and internal controls

·        Provides recommendations that shape business strategies and operational improvements

·        Manages and improves processes

·        Leads continuous improvement initiatives to streamline budgeting and forecasting cycles

·        Enhances utilization of financial systems and tools for better data accuracy and efficiency

·        Supervises and mentors FP&A team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth

·        Serves as a key liaison between Finance and other functional areas

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred

·        5+ years of progressive corporate finance experience, including leadership responsibilities

Skills and Competencies

·        Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

·        Deep understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow relationships

·        Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Hyperion or similar financial planning systems preferred

Office Setting

·        Choice of sitting or standing or alternating between them (stand-up desk optional)

·        Keyboarding/typing on a computer for extended periods of time

·        Moderate noise, i.e., phones, printer, light foot traffic
