Key Responsibilities Deepening relationships with existing clients Gather information and collect suitability information to open new accounts Research portfolio performance, cost/fees, asset allocation, and changes to portfolio construction/investments, then make recommendations to the Financial Advisor and communicate to the client on behalf of the Financial Advisor when in agreement with the recommendation Execute Financial Advisor solicited buy/sell orders and confirm with clients Answer general client questions regarding Edward Jones Stock recommendations and withdrawals Actively business plan and work as a team to continuously evaluate and execute branch strategies Continually develop yourself to grow personally and professionally Requirements High School Diploma/Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred 3-5 years of relevant experience in securities/financial services industry preferred Series 7 and Series 66 required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned study period FINRA registrations required within three months; state insurance licenses also required Complete all ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities FINRA and/or SEC Complete required CE training to ensure license(s) are in good standing Skills Ability to learn and apply legal and regulatory requirements related to selling financial solutions Work independently with strong problem solving, critical thinking, and sound judgement A resilient, creative and progressive mindset Motivated to achieve results as an individual and team Attention to detail, organization, and time management Training & Support Training may include mentoring, job shadowing, coaching and branch office visits A support network that extends beyond your branch office and includes headquarters assistance via phone, email and firm intranet resources Benefits Culture of continuous improvement and professional development Medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (accident, hospital indemnity, critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage (the latter at no cost to associates) 401(k) retirement plan and tax-advantaged accounts (health savings account, flexible spending account) 10 paid holidays and 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, plus sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism Potential eligibility for bonuses and profit sharing; all associates are eligible for the Employee Assistance Program Compensation Human- centered approach to compensation, with merit-based salary increases as the Registered Branch Associate role progresses Edward Jones does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, veteran status, genetic information or any other basis prohibited by applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Edward Jones
