The successful candidate will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and procurement related systems to ensure alignment between material position and factory requirementsWhat You Will Do:Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirementsProviding status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as neededManaging 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) suppliersOperate as site lead / POC for these 3PLs managing relationships with partnersLead process improvement activities and cost reduction initiativesPlace orders through TCMIS / Incora system used to coordinate with supply chain and suppliersWork to support factory to resolve chemical material shortages and other issues impacting product buildThis role will work closely with the factory and operations teams to ensure production execution.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related filed and 5 years of experience.Experience in material management, Production Control, Supply Chain and or Manufacturing Operations.Qualifications We Prefer:Experience working with 3PLs Experience working with SAPKnowledge of manufacturing processes and environmentExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplinesProficient in Excel, Power Point, Outlook/Skype2+ years of procurement activity or working with supply base activities.Experience being accountable to track and manage budgetsAbility to understand complex systems and processesAbility to apply Lean and 6 Sigma concepts to improve departmental, factory related, and cross-departmental processesMotivated and takes on challenges with minimal direction, with the ability to see when something needs to be done and react accordingly.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
