Job Description The Director of Quality Management is responsible for setting the overall quality strategy and driving systematic improvements of quality systems globally across both the U.S. and Czech manufacturing sites. The Director of Quality Management leads the development and continuous improvement of our unified global Quality Management System (QMS), ensures compliance with external ISO standards (ISO 9001) and customer quality requirements, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate views and leverages QMS as a toolkit to drive improvements in business performance and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities Develop and execute a global quality strategy aligned with organizational objectives Drive harmonization of processes, documentation, and quality standards across both manufacturing sites Lead Quality Engineers and support their professional growth, training, and project ownership Select and monitor operational KPIs (FPY, COPQ, Scrap) and ensure visibility across both operations Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 compliant QMS Serve as the primary owner of customer complaints, corrective actions, and quality escalations Lead internal audit programs and quality management reviews Ensure readiness and own execution for external audits Support new supplier qualifications, re-qualifications, audits, and corrective actions (SCARs) Oversee incoming inspection for both sites, including setting acceptance criteria, establishing sampling plans, managing inspection documentation, and handling nonconformances Partner with Operations and Engineering to resolve production issues and increase process capability Align with Sales and Customer Service to support customer complaints, escalations, and replacements Candidate Overview Educational / Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree required, technical discipline preferred 5 - 10 years of quality management experience, preferably in manufacturing environments Experience leading multi‑site quality operations is preferred Significant experience with ISO 9001 required, experience with ISO 17025 and/or ISO 17034 is strongly preferred Required Competencies Professional experience with root‑cause analysis tools and structured problem‑solving Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong knowledge of metrology, calibration, and quality control concepts Ability to see the big picture and determine the best course of action from a business perspective Compensation Competitive base salary Competitive benefits package including 401K Annual bonuses based on profit growth of the company #J-18808-Ljbffr
