Interventional Radiology Rn Opportunity

Advance your nursing career in an Interventional Radiology (IR) role, providing specialized care in a dynamic hospital environment. As an RN in IR, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support complex procedures and ensure patient safety during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years' recent nursing experience, with at least 1 year in Interventional Radiology or a critical care setting
• Strong assessment, IV insertion, and patient monitoring skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication abilities and a commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing environments

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract position
• Flexibility with scheduling, including potential for varied shifts or on-call coverage as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on patient care before, during, and after IR procedures
• Monitor vital signs and advocate for patient safety throughout each procedure
• Coordinate with physicians, technologists, and additional healthcare staff to prepare equipment and supplies
• Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and post-intervention care
• Administer prescribed medications and respond promptly to any adverse reactions or emergencies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with healthcare standards and facility policy
