Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Full-Charge Bookkeeper - Orlando, FlA fast-growing construction company known for delivering high-quality projects is seeking a seasoned Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage end-to-end accounting operations and support strategic financial decision-making. Position is open for immediate hire. Due to continued growth, the company needs an experienced accounting professional to maintain financial accuracy and compliance. In-office role within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Salary commensurate with experience, competitive within the industry.The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will oversee the full cycle of accounting responsibilities, including A/P, A/R, payroll, job costing, reconciliations, and financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on construction accounting.Key Responsibilities:Manage general ledger and all financial transactionsHandle full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableProcess payroll, including certified payrollPerform job costing and track project budgetsReconcile bank, credit card, and loan accountsPrepare and file sales tax and payroll tax documentsAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reportingCoordinate year-end tax preparations with CPAMaintain compliance documentation (W-9s, 1099s, COIs, NTOs, lien releases)Improve and enforce accounting procedures and controlsOversee benefits administration and corporate insuranceProvide general office management supportQualifications:8+ years of bookkeeping experience, with at least 4 in constructionProficiency in job costing, AIA billing, and construction payrollStrong knowledge of lien releases, NTOs, and complianceExperience with advanced accounting software (not QuickBooks)Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs preferred)Highly organized and detail-orientedAbility to work independently in a fast-paced settingDegree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredIf you're interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
