UX Writer
The UX writer works as part of a digital product team to ensure a coherent, consistent content experience across user flow-based experiences (e.g., multi-step product selection tools, user registration flows, quoting / configuration tools).
We are seeking individuals experienced working as part of a digital product team in an agile environment. Candidates should be able:
- To provide quality UX writing, including microcopy, error messages, notifications, instructional text, and disclaimers
- To be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, working closely with editors, designers, and product teams across multiple lines of business
- To balance the needs of business, design, legal, compliance and technology stakeholders to create UX content that supports user flow-based experiences
- To demonstrate attention to detail and use style guides and design systems to drive content consistency across experiences and align to the brand
- To collaborate with product and design teams in Figma to define user flows, wireframes, and to prepare the content that supports the experience.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in UX Writing, Content Design, or Content Strategy, with a focus on writing UX content (microcopy, notifications, disclaimers, etc.) for user flow-based experiences.
- Portfolio of UX writing samples
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with working in Agile (sprint based) environments
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., insurance, banking)
- Familiarity with Figma
- UX Writing certification
