Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree or graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or accredited Allied Health Program.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular specialty, preferably in a hospital Cath Lab setting.
• Must obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
• Willingness to meet the facility requirement for local candidate eligibility as specified by the client.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assisting during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Familiarity with catheterization lab imaging systems and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:0017:30.
• Call commitment: one weeknight and one weekend per month.

As a cardiovascular technologist on assignment, you will provide essential procedural support that directly affects diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes. Follow established protocols, collaborate with interventional cardiologists and the care team, and contribute to efficient procedural flow and patient safety.
