Quality Technician III

A high-precision tooling and machining services company is looking for a Quality Technician III to support our continued growth. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that both company and customer quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have a n understanding of total quality management and will exemplify our core values of People, Integrity, and Excellence in all aspects of their duties and responsibilities. Reports To: Quality & Production Manager Program and run production inspections on CMMs, vision systems, or other metrology tools F irst-piece, in-process, and final inspections of precision-machined components and tooling Conduct in-process inspections on the production floor to verify conformance during machining operations Documentation and Compliance : Complete accurate documentation , i .e. inspection reports, records, and Certificates of Conformance (COC) Manage nonconforming product and processes Maintain and update ISO 9001 records Communication and Problem Solving : Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and building rapport with colleagues, customers, and vendors Troubleshoot quality issues collaboratively with machinists, engineers, production teams , customers, and vendors Employee will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Proficient in b lueprint reading and GD&T Knowledge of metrology equipment (CMM programming, etc.) U nderstanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques Working familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and documentation Self -starter with e xceptional attention to detail , and ability to work i ndepend ently Preferred: 2-year degree in CNC machining Machining experience (e.g., CNC operation, tool & die making, or hands-on production machining , tight tolerances .)
