Overview
Registered Nurse – ER in Hanford, California. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,027–$2,171 per week. Guaranteed hours: 48 per week. Shift: Night shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Setting: Short-term acute care environment. This is a travel, temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients using the nursing process.
- Collect and analyze relevant data, identify care issues, and develop an appropriate plan.
- Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe, healing environment.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels; delegate tasks as appropriate and monitor patient progress.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families to support continuity of care.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (state of practice) or appropriate state where practicing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required.
- At least two years of recent ER nursing experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with electronic health records; EPIC and Cerner experience preferred for backfill.
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and to meet facility vaccination policy requirements or approved exemptions.
- Current CPR certification may be acceptable in lieu of BLS per policy; confirm per assignment.
