Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Department (ED) Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36/week Shift: 7p-7a Location: Carthage, NY Position Type: Travel Estimated Payment Breakdown $2700/week Job Summary Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for an Emergency Department in Carthage, NY. Responsibilities Utilize EMR to record patients’ medical information and vital signs Assess, prioritize, and provide care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries Perform triage and assist with emergency stabilization and treatment Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as prescribed Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to healthcare providers Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and disposition Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active RN license Minimum 1 year of experience working in ED Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations Credentials Required Active and unencumbered NY RN License Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
