Accounting Associate

Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Accounting Associate with knowledge of basic accounting principles and solid general office skills to assist with processing Accounts Payable.


Rate: $22-26/hr BOE


Hours: Mon - Fri 7-4/8-5 (flexible)


Essential Functions

• Provide accurate and timely accounting support.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide excellent customer service
• Various administrative tasks and office support activities such as processing documents, faxing, filing and data entry.
• Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, records and other entries.
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Coordinates with all levels of personnel to gather, analyze and summarize requested information.
• Work on additional projects as needed and assist with other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have solid general office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• 2 years' experience with Accounts Payable are required.
• Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and operate office equipment and technology.
