Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 24-bed capacity
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and neurological observation
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic EMR
• Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet census demands
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license – no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry or Neurology
• Active BLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Willingness to float to sister facilities within the designated service area

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Experience in a high-census environment with consistent daily patient volumes
