Seeking Education Specialist in Orange County Location: Costa Mesa, California Job ID: 5787204 Application Deadline: August 1, 2026 11:59 PM (UTC) Posted: June 17, 2026 12:00 AM (UTC) Starting Date: August 16, 2026 Job Description Amergis Staffing is looking to hire an Education Specialist to provide quality services to special education students, Kindergarten through grade 12, through a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff. This position is for the current 2026-2027 school year! Benefits Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30 am-4 pm Starting pay $45-55 per hour (negotiable) Travel Package available if eligible 35-40 hours a week full time or part time Medical, Dental, Vision benefits available Responsibilities Prepares student education plans in consultation with parents and IEP team members. Designs instruction, both individual and small group, which parallels the general education curriculum. Serves as the coordinator of IEP implementation with general education staff. Monitors student progress, participates in review and revision of student’s IEP, as appropriate. Other Special Education Teacher related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university with an emphasis in an appropriate field. Mild/Mod or Mod/Severe Credential (required). CA Teaching License (required). Job Requirements At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Bachelor degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
