Reports To: Director of Nursing

Bridge House is a small stabilization and assessment residential program for adults struggling with mental health illness. We are located in a peaceful and beautiful setting in Farmington, Utah. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. See for more information.

Primary Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributing to the nursing assessment and development of a nursing care plan, and participating in the evaluation of nursing care.

Job Duties
• Supports nursing care standards through adherence to Bridge House policies and procedures.
• Assesses residents, records vital signs, collect patient information.
• Observes and records patient behavior.
• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Reads and interprets patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate.
• Uses care plans as a basis for providing safe and therapeutic care to residents.
• Communicates with residents regarding their medical care.
• Accepts accountability for clinical care of residents including supervision of nonprofessional personnel.
• Administers medication to residents.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Must pass background check
• Valid drivers license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently using critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Completes and submits all documentation in a timely manner according to company policy
