Overview Casa Central’s Violence Prevention & Intervention (VPI) program provides high-quality, culturally and linguistically attuned, trauma-informed therapy and support services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, child abuse/neglect, and other traumas. Position Summary The Clinical Supervisor supports all aspects of day‑to‑day program operations. The Clinical Supervisor provides reflective, clinical and administrative supervision to Therapists, reviews and approves assessments, service plans, and progress reports, delivers clinical and administrative training, collaborates with community service partners, supports the program’s stakeholder coalition, enhances community awareness of violence, ensures compliance with contractual mandates, and engages in strategic planning under the Program Director’s leadership. The Clinical Supervisor also maintains a 50% clinical caseload (7‑9 families) to provide individual and family therapy services to program clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Program Operations Support planning for the Domestic Violence and Safe Start programs, including caseload assignment, monitoring, support groups, community trainings, and special event planning. Act as a liaison for contractual therapists and service agreements, ensuring compliance with agency policy. Develop and implement VPI policies and procedures and ensure staff adherence to confidentiality and reporting protocols. Provide conflict‑resolution assistance, assist the Program Director with funder reports, and ensure ongoing compliance with Medicaid/Part 132/140 service delivery. Facilitate staff meetings, group supervision, and professional development opportunities. Personnel Management, Supervision & Team Leadership Coordinate, supervise, and monitor intern, student, and volunteer placements. Directly supervise three Therapists and provide supervisory coverage for the Program Assistant and additional Therapists in the absence of the Program Director. Manage selection, onboarding, ongoing training, and performance evaluation of staff. Develop activities and trainings to foster a positive team culture and professional development. Participant Service Delivery / Participant Care Maintain a caseload of 7‑9 therapy clients and their families, design and implement therapeutic or psychoeducational group services, and provide timely crisis intervention and safety planning strategies. Deliver individual, family, and group counseling using evidence‑based practices, especially Child‑Parent Psychotherapy, in office, via telehealth, and in the community. Accompany victims/survivors to police, clinics, court, and other arenas as needed. Engage in multidisciplinary efforts to support continuous care, including child‑family team meetings, court proceedings, and collaboration with medical, legal, and social service professionals. Follow confidentiality guidelines and report child or elder abuse as required by law. Intake & Screening Conduct timely intakes and assessments of clients, collect comprehensive data over phone and in person, and manage program waitlists. Provide periodic phone updates to waiting families and offer referrals to community resources. Establish rapport and foster safe therapeutic environments. Assessment Complete comprehensive mental health assessments or IM+CANS to identify strengths, needs, and inform service planning. Provide trauma and developmental screenings, refer young children to Early Intervention or Case Study services when appropriate, and complete data measures at multiple time points. Use collected data to inform service delivery. Service Planning & Goal Setting Design individualized treatment plans collaboratively with assigned clients, including measurable objectives and safety plans for victims/survivors of domestic violence. Referral and Linkage to Community Resources Utilize knowledge of resources to connect individuals and families with appropriate community services. Documentation Prepare and submit timely service statistics for reporting and billing, enter data into funder databases, and maintain required documentation in accordance with agency and funder requirements, including Medicaid/Part 132/140 compliance. Submit monthly and quarterly reports on services and program activities and manage ongoing data entry for funder reporting. Administrative Tasks Approve time sheets, ensure compliance with agency and funder guidelines, and submit documentation for supply orders or equipment needs. Community Outreach & Training Provide ongoing general trainings for community partners and stakeholders, and offer professional development training for program Therapists. Performance & Quality Management Participate in the agency’s Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) structure, follow agency mission and core values in daily work, review case records, and conduct program satisfaction surveys to inform delivery. Stakeholder Relationships & Partnerships Nurture professional relationships with agency staff, Safe Start Coalition members, community partners, and government agencies. Facilitate coalition meetings, co‑facilitate Safe Start Coalition sessions, attend required funder training, and represent Casa Central in external meetings. Serve as liaison between Casa Central and funders and stakeholders. General Requirements Evening and weekend availability is preferred; flexibility to accommodate clients’ schedules is essential. Flexibility to travel for in‑home and community services is required. Sensitivity to cultural diversity is required. Candidates will undergo drug and alcohol screening and aptitude and skills testing. Reasonable accommodations may be made to perform essential functions. Education / Experience Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related Human Service field with LCSW or LCPC required. Clinical Social Work or Counseling experience desired, especially with families of young children impacted by violence and trauma. Prior training in Child‑Parent Psychotherapy or infant/early childhood mental health highly preferred. Completion of an 18‑month Child‑Parent Psychotherapy Learning Cohort is required. Obtaining 40‑hour Domestic Violence Certification within 3 months of hire is required. Language Skills Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Computer Literacy & Knowledge Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and other agency applications. Ability to prepare statistical reports regarding program services is required. Physical Demands Employees must regularly sit, talk, and hear. Hands‑on tasks are frequent. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Work Environment The work environment is typically moderate in noise level.
