About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a strong technical background to spearhead the development of next-generation autonomous and edge-enabled systems. The CTO will be responsible for defining and executing the long-term technology vision, leading the engineering strategy, and overseeing the technical execution of the company's products. This role demands a hands-on approach, with the CTO expected to engage in deeply technical problems, lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, and establish scalable engineering processes and technical culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in RF communications, embedded systems, and the deployment of AI/ML or LLM-enabled systems on edge or resource-constrained hardware. Key responsibilities for the CTO include serving as a technical representative to various stakeholders, driving the deployment of AI/ML and large language model technologies, and building modern CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines for mission-critical environments. The successful candidate will have a strong software engineering foundation, experience in mission-critical industries, and a background in recruiting and leading high-performing technical teams. Preferred qualifications include experience in satellite communications, tactical networking, or contested communications environments, as well as familiarity with embedded AI inference frameworks and edge acceleration technologies. Security clearance or eligibility is also a plus.
