Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and current Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Previous experience working in schools or pediatric healthcare environments is highly preferred
• Thorough understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and special education processes
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Comfort adapting therapeutic strategies to meet a range of abilities and ages
• Dedication to continual development and teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical and functional abilities to determine eligibility for services
• Develop and implement custom treatment plans in partnership with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups, to help students develop mobility, coordination, and functional skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide detailed progress reports to stakeholders
• Educate staff and caregivers on best practices for supporting students’ physical well-being in the classroom
• Maintain organized and compliant documentation in line with school standards and regulations
