Project Manager

About the Company Our client is a multi-location electrical contractor with a strong and growing presence in the Raleigh market. They operate as a close-knit, collaborative team and are currently expanding. The Role Project Manager for the electrical and solar partnership. You'll be the single point of contact bridging two complementary teams, owning projects end-to-end and becoming the go-to person for paperwork, coordination, and client relationship management across both sides of the business. The goal is to eliminate the learning curve that costs time and money on every new project, and build a repeatable, streamlined delivery model. You'll be embedded with both teams, involved early in projects, and trusted to make it work. Key Responsibilities Manage electrical scope across commercial and renewable projects from inception to handover Act as the primary point of contact for all joint solar partnership projects Learn and execute solar-specific documentation, turnover requirements, and client reporting standards Coordinate closely with field teams and the solar partner's project teams Travel to project sites across the US as required (frequency varies by location - roughly biweekly for nearby projects, monthly for remote) Help develop relationships with other solar and renewable clients in the region as the business grows Must-haves: Solid electrical trade background - this is the primary requirement 4+ years in the electrical industry overall 1-2 years of project management experience enough if paired with strong electrical knowledge Genuine team-first mentality, collaborative, willing to ask questions Comfortable with travel and periodic on-site visits (not a full-time site role) Nice-to-haves: Some exposure to solar or renewables (training will be provided - the right electrical background matters more) Experience managing account-level relationships with developers or repeat cients #J-18808-Ljbffr
