Overseas Business Development Manager

Overview The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. Responsibilities Responsible for business development and market expansion across Europe, with a primary focus on promoting the company's Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) based oncology diagnostic products and services. Develop and execute business development strategies for the European market, including new customer acquisition, channel development, and partnership management. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key decision-makers within the European region. Gain deep insight into European market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to support business decision-making. Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and business negotiations for customers and partners. Collaborate closely with internal technical specialists, marketing, and product teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are successfully implemented. Achieve business targets and performance metrics set by the company. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in European business development or sales, preferably within the NGS, molecule diagnostic(IVD), life science instruments, or related services industries. Familiar within European life science industry; prior experience or established network within IVD or academic research institutions, biotech companies, or diagnostic firms in Europe is highly desirable. Solid understanding of NGS technology and its applications, with strong industry insights. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
