Sales Specialist, Channel

Join us and help run what runs the world. This position reports to: Sales Manager In this role, you will act as the primary interface between distributor/commercial contractor customers and ABB. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also plan and implement sales strategies to maximize market share and margin, and motivate electrical contractors to prefer ABB industrial solutions over the competition. The work model for the role is hybrid in San Antonio, TX. #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in North America. Responsibilities Collaborate with distributors to set future sales targets and strategies, maintain objectives throughout the year, and ensure targets are met and/or exceeded. Communicate with customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy. Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned electrical contractors at all levels of their organizations; monitor pricing agreement utilization and adjust plans as needed. Job Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college with 3+ years of sales experience or GED/High School Diploma with 5+ years sales experience. Ability to travel to customer sites on a weekly basis. Educational background in Engineering or Business Management is preferred. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
