Pay Rate: $20.50 - $25.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM

What You Bring to the Table as a Machinist

• Technical degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferred
• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of machining experience may be considered
• Internship or hands-on machining experience preferred
• Ability to set up tooling and execute basic machining programs
• Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to learn new machining methods and processes quickly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team-oriented attitude with flexibility to support multiple operations

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and assist with programming various machine tools including mills, lathes, and drill presses
• Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and machining instructions
• Machine parts to precise specifications and tolerance requirements
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to verify quality
• Perform secondary operations such as deburring and part stamping during machine cycles
• Send and receive machine programs through network systems
• Maintain work areas according to 5S and safety standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Support production priorities and maintain part throughput within assigned work cells
• Participate in cross-training and continuous skill development within the machine shop
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
