# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Colorado

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Aurora, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity

Highlights:

• 38-bed Level II Trauma Center ICU caring for a diverse mix of medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery patients
• Advanced critical care experience including post-operative open-heart patients, VV and VA ECMO, balloon pump, Impella, and CRRT
• Collaborative team environment with approximately 125 nursing staff members across shifts
• EMR system: Meditech; state-of-the-art equipment including Stryker beds, Avea ventilators, GE monitors, Baxter IV pumps, and more
• Bedside procedures include bronchoscopies, GI scopes, chest tube insertions, arterial and central line insertions, airway care, and drip titrations
• Scenic location close to the Rocky Mountains with year-round outdoor recreation opportunities

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Active RN license in good standing
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• CVICU/CTICU experience with immediate post-operative open heart surgery patients highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and collaborative team-oriented approach
