About the Position
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Float to like units within scope of practice based on facility needs as required
- Maintain compliance with all onboarding requirements, including completion of onsite orientation modules
- Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements as part of standard contract obligations
- Active RN license or pending New Mexico/Compact license (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Minimum 1.5 years of ICU experience
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates will not be accepted
- Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
- Experience floating to similar units within an acute care environment
- Familiarity with high-acuity cardiac or critical care patient populations
- Flexible scheduling with the option to work 36 or 48 hours per week to fit your lifestyle
- Open to first-time travelers, making this a great opportunity to launch your travel nursing career
