Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An established pharmacy near Milford, MA is seeking a dedicated Long Term Care Staff Pharmacist to enhance pharmacy services and support growth initiatives. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced LTC pharmacist or a retail pharmacist eager to expand expertise in long term care, with training provided.
Location:
- Milford, MA area (close to Framingham)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee medication management and dispensing for long term care patients
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in developing pharmacy operations and service expansions
- Provide education and counseling to patients and staff regarding medication use
Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts pharmacist license in good standing is required
- Prior experience in long term care pharmacy highly preferred
- Retail pharmacists seeking LTC skills growth will be considered and trained
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
