Long Term Care Pharmacist in Charge - Marlborough, MA

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An established pharmacy near Marlborough, MA is seeking an experienced Long Term Care Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to lead their team toward continued growth and operational excellence. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional with strong leadership skills and a solid background in long term care pharmacy management.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the long term care pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Lead and support pharmacy staff, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment
Manage medication distribution and ensure accuracy in prescription processing specific to long term care settings
Collaborate with healthcare providers and facilities to optimize medication therapy for residents
Drive initiatives to improve service quality and pharmacy performance

Qualifications:

Current Massachusetts pharmacist license in good standing
Proven experience as a Pharmacist In Charge within a long term care setting
Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and compliance standards for long term care
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
