Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to join a growing, newly established long-term care facility. This direct hire position offers the chance to take ownership of your schedule while contributing to a dynamic pharmacy operation focused on quality patient care.
Location: Framingham, MA
Start Date: Early December
Schedule:
- PIC designs their own schedule
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday – Saturday)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday – Saturday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in medication dispensing
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient-focused long-term care services
- Maintain and manage inventory within the Frameworks system
- Adapt and grow processes in a newly formed facility environment
- Provide training and mentoring support to retail pharmacists transitioning into LTC pharmacy
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Massachusetts pharmacist license in good standing is mandatory
- Previous long-term care pharmacy operations experience is strongly preferred
- Retail pharmacists interested in LTC pharmacy are encouraged to apply; training will be provided
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and lead pharmacy initiatives
