Commericial Finance Business Partner - Hazardous Waste

In this position, you'll partner across the business to support hazardous waste opportunities through pricing, financial insight, and strategic collaboration. As a subject matter expert, you'll work closely with Sales, Operations, Compliance, and customers to navigate complex pricing, vendor disposal options, and solution design. You'll play a key role in evaluating opportunities using customer data, waste profiles, transportation needs, and cost-to-serve analysis, helping ensure pricing is accurate, competitive, and compliant. What You’ll Do: Develop pricing models and commercial recommendations using waste profiles, vendor costs, transportation needs, and margin targets Analyze customer profitability and cost-to-serve to drive revenue growth and margin improvement Support new business, renewals, and customized hazardous waste programs Identify rightsizing opportunities across volumes, service levels, and disposal pathways Partner cross-functionally to evaluate opportunities and translate operational data into financial insights Participate in customer discussions, clearly explaining pricing, disposal options, and cost drivers Validate assumptions around waste profiles, volumes, and vendor costs Act as and collaborate with internal subject matter experts in hazardous waste pricing, disposal pathways, and TSDF capabilities Monitor vendor costs, market trends, and regulatory changes to ensure competitive, compliant pricing Support risk management, audits, and financial reviews What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, CMA, or CA preferred) 5+ years experience in FP&A, business partnering, or corporate finance Direct industry experience in environmental services, hazardous waste management, or waste industry commercial roles. Strong understanding of hazardous waste profiles, waste characterization, treatment and disposal pathways, and processing complexity. Actual compensation within this range will depend on factors unique to each candidate, such as prior experience, skill, certifications, and work location. Pay variations by location reflect local conditions and differences in the cost of labor.
