Position Overview Position Type: Paraprofessional / Elementary Paraprofessional Date Posted: 6/16/2026 Location: Schofield Early Childhood Center (High-Needs School) Title: Paraprofessional - Kinderpath School Year: 2026-2027 Salary: $17.59 to $19.41 per hour (2654 Contract) Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent required. Complete at least two years of higher education (60 semester hours) or ETS ParaPro Assessment with a passing score of 460. Previous work experience with children. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Effective communication with students, parents, and staff. Organize materials and time efficiently; keep neat, accurate records. Work directly with students professionally and provide direction as needed. Display sensitivity to multi‑ethnicity of students. Responsibilities Provide support to students needing modified instruction or assistance as described in the IEP. Interact with students on classroom projects and special activities, modeled by the teacher. Prepare instructional materials under teacher direction, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate records of student progress. Support students with curriculum tasks and assignments, guiding while not teaching. Reinforce and help students master material introduced by the teacher under supervision. Assist in supervising, interacting with, and working directly with students in classroom and other school settings (lunchroom, playground, band/music room, restroom, library, field trips, etc.) under teacher direction. Inform the teacher of any special needs or problems of students. Maintain confidentiality of student information.
