Heavy civil construction project manager

job summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead multiple construction projects from inception to successful completion for our client in Winter Haven, FL. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of successfully collaborating with subcontractors, engineers, and clients to bring blueprints to life, we want you to bring your leadership skills to our team! This is an onsite position in Winter Haven, FL with travel to local job sites.

responsibilities:

• Oversee construction projects from beginning to end.
  
  
• Manage the budget, cost estimates, and forecasts.
  
  
• Build and maintain project schedules.
  
  
• Determine the necessary equipment, materials, subcontractors and manpower needed to build the job.
  
  
  
• Prepare reports regarding job status.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or the equivalent. Bachelor's degree in a related field. (Preferred)

• 3-5 years of experience in project management within civil construction.

• Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.

• High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions.

• Ability to speak another language- Spanish (a plus)
