Step into a vital role supporting students near Fort Worth, TX, as an onsite School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. This is a contract opportunity open to both part-time and full-time schedules, with the flexibility of a hybrid arrangement—enjoy three days onsite and two days working remotely each week. The assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through May 28, 2027.
As a School Psychologist in this setting, you'll offer expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation services to help foster success for all students. The district values professionals ready to make a meaningful impact through collaboration with educators and families.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Hold a current Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential or Associate School Psychologist license.
- Possess a School Psychologist certification issued by the board of examiners of psychologists.
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required for passionate new professionals.
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention strategies, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Ability to pass district onboarding, including fingerprinting and registry list search.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, functional behavior assessments, and eligibility determinations.
- Support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Provide crisis intervention and preventative services as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district policies.
