Required Skills:

• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant training program (CAAHEP or ABHES recognized) or U.S. Armed Forces medical services training program
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant (American Association of Medical Assistants or American Medical Technologists)
• At least one year of full-time CMA experience in outpatient family practice or primary care within the last three years
• Proficiency in vital signs measurement, patient history documentation, diagnostic procedures, and maintaining examination rooms
• Strong communication and patient rapport skills
• Ability to accurately enter demographic and clinical data into electronic health records

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience performing diagnostic procedures like X-rays and laboratory requisitions
• Familiarity with clinic administrative duties, including patient check-ins and discharge procedures
• Knowledge of medical software and electronic health record systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited program, or equivalent military training
• Minimum of one year of recent outpatient CMA experience in a primary care setting
• Valid certifications in medical assisting and BLS

Other Requirements:

• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 0730 to 1600
• Ability to travel and receive licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements as applicable
• No more than 7 days of requested time off within the first 90 days; all RTO must be noted at submission
• Must be able to perform routine maintenance of examination rooms and manage supplies effectively
