Job Description Job Title: Structural Welder Location: Moline, IL Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $22-$25 per hour DOE Key Responsibilities:
- Weld, cut, and fabricate metal structures and components based on blueprints and specifications.
- Work with a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, using different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Inspect materials and finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and schematics.
- Perform welding tasks in various environments, such as construction sites or workshops.
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to meet project deadlines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Structural Welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred.
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions if necessary.
- Strong safety awareness and the ability to follow strict safety protocols.
