Job Summary The Teacher provides support to the instructional process by supervising students in the classroom and other assigned areas. This role involves developing lesson plans, delivering group and individual instruction, collaborating with other professionals, and addressing inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional programs and student progress. Key Responsibilities Instructional Adaptation : Adapt classroom work to address individualized learning plans, 504 plans, and other needs within established lesson plans. Assessment Administration : Administer developmental and subject‑specific assessments to evaluate student competency and develop individual learning plans. Progress Monitoring : Assess student progress towards learning goals and provide feedback to students, parents, and administration. Collaborate with instructional staff, school personnel, parents, and community resources to improve student outcomes and achieve classroom objectives. Activity Coordination : Coordinate activities including lesson plans and both indoor and outdoor activities to ensure the availability of necessary resources. Demonstration : Demonstrate effective methods for performing classroom and subject‑specific assignments. Supervision : Direct student teachers, paraprofessionals, volunteers, and student workers as needed. Instruction Delivery : Provide instruction in both in‑person and virtual environments to enhance students' academic and interpersonal skills.
