Physical Therapist

Conducts physical therapy evaluations and treatments according to established standards of physical therapy, physicians referral and physical therapy plan of care. Primary position responsibilities include evaluating infants, toddlers and children; developing appropriate treatment plans; providing developmentally appropriate, therapeutic interventions; completing thorough and accurate evaluation reports and ongoing daily session notes and progress reports; maintaining acceptable levels of clinical productivity; submitting billing accordingly; counseling and educating patient, family and/or caregiver regarding treatment goals and progress; communicating with other essential medical and community/school personnel; maintaining personal knowledge and skill levels and contributing to enhancing that of colleagues.

Qualifications: Minimum education required is a Bachelors Degree in Physical therapy. Preferred qualifications include a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy or related field, Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. Minimum years of experience required is 1-3 years experience providing therapy within a pediatric setting working with infants, toddlers and children; will consider new graduate. Preferred experience is none. License, registry or certification required is a current New Jersey State License. Preferred licenses are none. Knowledge, skills and/or abilities required include pediatric experience. Preferred knowledge, skills and/or abilities are none.
