Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job

Overview Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a six-week travel assignment in a long-term care setting located in Dunn, North Carolina. The role focuses on geriatric patient care in a nursing home environment. Start date is 09/19/2026 with daytime, 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.). Weekly pay ranges from $965 to $1,006 per week, and there are no guaranteed hours for this assignment. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $965-$1,006 per week Start date: 09/19/2026 Contract duration: 6 weeks Shift: 12-hour daytime shifts (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC) - Nursing Home Weekend requirement: Every other weekend Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessment and monitoring of health status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety. Monitor vital signs, respond to changes in condition, and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team. Document care activities and resident responses according to facility policies; ensure smooth shift handoffs. Support residents with activities of daily living and implement geriatric care plans to promote comfort and safety. Uphold infection control, safety, and patient privacy standards; collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other staff to optimize care. Requirements Active North Carolina LPN license Minimum 12 months of recent LPN experience, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting Credentialing items must be completed by 09/09/2026 or ASAP Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) Available for weekend rotation every other weekend Able to work in a long-term care environment and follow care plans and policies Benefits and Support Orientation provided during the first couple hours of the initial shift Credentialing guidance with deadlines aligned to start date Assignment-specific support from a designated account manager during the travel assignment Clear communication and scheduling support throughout the engagement Pay processed on a per-week basis
