Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:


- Provide specialized nursing care and related services for assigned patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD).
- Participate actively in planning and delivering patient care.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to perform treatments such as sterile dressings, irritations, and cauterizations.
- Offer functional direction and support to ancillary personnel.
- Be prepared for on-call duties as needed based on operational requirements.

Job Requirements:


- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification from an approved vendor is a must.
- Experience with arrhythmia certification is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and a minimum of 21 years of age is preferred.


Essential Functions:


- Deliver care for assigned patients under the guidance of an RN per established standards and nursing processes.
- Perform routine patient visits following departmental policies and procedures.
- Assist in creating prioritized interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
- Implement and coordinate care plans using effective organizational skills.
- Conduct patient teaching sessions and develop discharge plans focused on patient decision-making.
- Execute assigned clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, and drug screens.
- Administer medications and maintain an organized supply inventory.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas.
- Undertake other job-related duties as instructed.
