In this role, you’ll assess resident health status, develop and update care plans, communicate with staff and families, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. You’ll foster a safe, compassionate, and engaging environment while supporting the professional growth of the care team. Wednesday - SaturdayWhat You’ll DoAssess residents’ health upon admission and ongoing changes in condition, and develop or update individualized care plansCommunicate resident needs and changes to the Director, Health and Wellness, staff, and familiesParticipate in hands-on care and perform specific nursing tasks per residents’ care plansTrain and support care staff to meet continuing education and competency requirementsTranscribe and review physician orders; monitor medication administration and perform MAR reviewsEnsure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and Bloodborne Pathogen GuidelinesParticipate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and report issues to leadershipWork safely and model safe practices for staff; correct unsafe actions as neededFoster teamwork, show initiative, and positively impact coworkers, residents, and visitorsReport any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policyPerform other duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForAssociate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferredValid State Nursing License (RN or LPN/LVN); required certifications as mandated by stateMinimum 1 year of nursing or caregiving experience, preferably in Assisted Living or Memory CareExperience with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with human resource rules a plusStrong clinical assessment skills, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsCompassion for and desire to work with the elderlySelf-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independentlyPleasant, professional, and personable demeanorJoin Milestone to provide exceptional clinical care, support a collaborative team, and positively impact residents’ lives every day.Milestone is an equal opportunity employer.
