Vaco Atlanta is seeking 2 Contract Buyers to support a high‑volume manufacturing procurement environment. This is a hands‑on role focused on purchase order execution, supplier follow‑up, and maintaining accurate order status to support production needs. Role: Buyer Location: Lithonia Onsite: 100% onsite (NO flexibility for hybrid) Job Type: Contract with permanent hire potential Compensation: $35–$40/hour Key Responsibilities Execute and manage high volumes of purchase orders Maintain open order reports and resolve shortages Follow up with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery Ensure materials availability to support production schedules Navigate ERP systems to manage orders and updates Requirements 5–8 years of manufacturing procurement experience Strong purchase order execution experience Experience managing open order reports ERP proficiency (Oracle, SAP, Epicor, Visual, etc.) Strong Excel skills (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP‑level) Detail‑oriented with strong accountability and communication skills Why Consider This Role Competitive hourly pay with potential overtime Stable work environment with an immediate start Opportunity to make an immediate impact Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
