Position: Production Supervisor
Location: Lithonia, GA
Shift: 8PM-8AM | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
Pay: $75,000-$100,000/year
Job Type: Direct Hire, Exempt Salaried

Job Summary

We are hiring a Production Supervisor for a client in Lithonia, GA. This is a direct hire opportunity for a hands-on leader responsible for driving safety, quality, and production performance on a night shift operation. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of supervising production teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise production floor operations during a 12-hour night shift, spending the majority of time on the floor
Schedule employees across lines and workstations; manage attendance, breaks, and daily assignments
Track KPIs across Safety, Quality, Production, Service, and Efficiency - identify trends and correct issues proactively
Conduct floor audits, verify adherence to standard work and procedures, and address deficiencies in real time
Inspect product and sign off on quality control check sheets per established standards
Enter production and employee data into SAP and other systems as required
Lead onboarding and training for new hires; ensure completion to standard
Handle employee development, performance feedback, discipline, scheduling, and time-off approvals
Partner with other departments and management to meet production targets

Must Haves

2+ years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience working in a production environment
High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work nights, weekends, and an on-call 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Preferred Skills

Bachelor's degree
SAP experience
Lean manufacturing experience
Experience in paper converting, chemical/plastics processing, or industrial packaging
Prior experience with KPI tracking and reporting
