Technical Analyst / Business Analyst, Wire Processing Applications

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Technical or Business Analyst in the banking and financial services industry.

• Proficiency in ISO 20022 messaging standards and payment system transformation initiatives.

• Experience with wire processing platforms and domestic/international payment rails including SWIFT, Fedwire, and ACH.

• Experience in complex data mapping, transaction reconciliation, and large-scale system migration during bank mergers.

• Experience with SQL, REST APIs, and SFTP protocols for validating data conversions and application interfaces.

• Experience in Agile delivery frameworks utilizing Jira and Confluence for user story development and backlog management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing stakeholders across business and technology divisions.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the technical transformation and data mapping of ISO 20022 message formats for wire processing applications.

• Orchestrate the migration of customer accounts, templates, and transaction history during enterprise platform conversions.

• Architect detailed functional specifications, technical process flows, and user stories for high-priority payment initiatives.

• Resolve critical production incidents for wire applications through technical investigation and deep root cause analysis.

• Manage System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for payment APIs and messaging interfaces.

• Execute technical readiness assessments and mock conversion rehearsals to ensure successful production cutovers.

• Perform impact assessments on settlement and reconciliation workflows to maintain regulatory and compliance standards.
