Mandatory Experience:

• Cath Lab RN
• Shifts: Days (with varied times), either 8 or 10hr shifts, 40 hr weekly. Call – 1-2 days per week, and about q2-3, weekend, call does include Holidays. Required to take call.
• Documentation EMR: Meditech
• Monitoring: Sensis
• Equipment: Siemens
• Labs: 2
• Call Team: 4 person call team
• Procedures: IR, Vascular, and Cardiac.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures. Also demonstrates basic understanding of Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Demonstrates appropriate application of specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography procedures, cardiac cath procedures, pacemakers and IABP insertion. Also demonstrates application of specialized skills involved in hemodynamic monitoring.
• Maintains basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing, as well as maintaining basic knowledge of Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab.
• Certification: BLS
