Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional

Location

Hilo, HI

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Rotating Shifts (Days, 8 or 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week) | Onsite | Call required 1–2 days per week, approximately every 2–3 weekends, including Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology, vascular, and cardiac procedures including angiography, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertion, and IABP insertion
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Apply specialized skills for hemodynamic monitoring in patients undergoing cath lab and angiography procedures
• Maintain basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR and operate Sensis monitoring and Siemens equipment
• Participate in a 4-person call team, including weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cardiac cath lab setting
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR documentation
• Experience with Sensis monitoring systems and Siemens imaging equipment
• Ability and willingness to take call, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with IR, vascular, and cardiac procedures in a high-volume cath lab environment
• Familiarity with CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Experience working within a structured call team rotation
