About This Role The Registered Nurse position at Hackensack Meridian Health involves providing comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Highlights Location: Brick, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Requirements Education Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience required or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey required by date of hire. BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire. National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
