Job Description

The Travel NICU Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized respiratory care for patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have experience in adult and Level 3 NICU and demonstrate skills in working with PB 840 and Draeger vents as well as the ability to deliver surfactant.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in the NICU setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and respiratory function closely.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Assist with procedures related to respiratory care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Respiratory Therapist licensure.
• Experience in an adult and Level 3 NICU setting is a must.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
